They have too much to ship at the moment, it might take a year
I'm currently waiting on nearly $2000.00 worth of LRG games.
Even though I've written down a list of all my orders, I've still lost track of it all as some orders are combined with stuff that won't ship for ages. Exile's End arrived yesterday which I'd completely forgotten about...
oh my gosh, wow just wow..... that's just crazy
I do my best to keep a list, and it's a good job i do, I still haven't received Punchline from Rice Digital, it's in stock, no shipping notification, I've just requested a refund as I'm pretty fed up with them.
I also ordered Peach Beach Splash PS4 Wet T-Shirt bundle from them last year; they decided not to release the wet T-Shirt bundle and did nothing with the orders they had received, I eventually got my money back about 2 months after the release date had passed, no apology.
I've never had any issues with RD, but the more I see here, the more I'm starting to think I won't buy from them anymore...
I just got the shipping notification for Super Hydorah finally. Now they just need to ship the other 8 games I'm waiting on.
Yeah I have really cut down on my orders with them so I have nothing like that kind of exposure but I'm still waiting on around 10 games and I'm unsure when I'll actually get them due to so many still not even being shipped yet
Well... Yea... Im waiting for stuff from may,
Cosmic star Heroine CE with Antiquia Lost, Both Vita. And every other Vita game from July on up to last month.
(I know this is a Vita forum, but since this is a Limited Run Games topic, I'm posting this there anyway.)
I passed on the collector's edition of Golf Story, and went for the standard version instead. None of the tat in the collector's edition did anything for me - a 'trophy', poster, golf ball and 'membership card'. Nope. Not interested. If there had been an art book and soundtrack then I would have bought it, but as it was, no. In any case, it seems that Golf Story's collector's edition has been one of the weakest sellers for Limited Run Games. Two weeks after it went on sale and there is still 20% of the inventory available. I can't remember seeing a collector's edition in the last year or so that hung around for so long.
Well least there's no vita today
Well I finally have movement on the tracking app for my mega bundle , Super Hydorah and Musynx , things are looking up
Start your engines ...okay maybe not.
vita game this Friday folks,
Just had a quick look on YouTube....a tower defence game !! Who picked that one ?. there's sooo much else out there that's much better but it's on vita and physical so a must buy !
Tower Defence? Fantastic, I just grabbed a couple of pricey Capcom games for my collection and needed an excuse to skip this!
Welp, another stressful release coming this Friday!
I feel so sorry for the full set collectors raking in all this garbage just to have a full set...
Everyone else's wallets can sigh from relief though
cries in full set
Looks other way
cries because no full set
Cries because he's trying to maintain a full set.
*cries because you lot are crying!*
Cries because there's only one Vita game for purchase on Friday
Dude! Theres been so many this month, i need a break. Between selling a few Gamecube games and friend buying two games for me to pay back later....
So many games this month... War Theatre, Mecho Wars, Ice Cream Surfer, Stay, Fast Strikers, and trying to get two extra copies of skull pirates for other collectors.... this month is already expensive and i still gotta Order DeathMark, and the two LRG this month
It's a tricky one to decide on. On the one hand LRG have done more than anyone else to preserve a ton of games that would otherwise eventually be lost. On the other hand they've single handily doubled or even tripled the cost of obtaining a full set of vita games.
The hacker known as "TheFlow" has done more than LRG for preservation though as their project has lead to the preservation of 99% of digital Vita releases. LRG, while they have released a whole lot is no where near this much.
Legalities aside, I do concur. However, myself have no plans of modding my Vita until well after official support for the system has ended (if then even). And even then, the moral dilemma of piracy is still a ever present matter.
Can remember being ever so excited to install the custom firmware on one of my PSPs just a couple years back, bought the Vita only a couple months later and haven't touched my PSP in at least two years as a result. Lots of factors and things to weigh and consider for certain.
