Likewise, was successful at getting both ordered this morning.
I scored both Guacamellee and Tales From Space! I'm so excited about Guac! Just keeping my fingers crossed that Mutant Blobs is whitelisted. LRG won't tell us one way or the other so i've got to buy it on the chance it works. They usually do!
Pix the Cat secured. BTW, fantastic game, absolutely fantastic.
Sold out in seconds... crazy...
LRG today was a carnage... ATARI FLASHBACK CLASSICS sold out in seconds. Only 1500 made and limit 1 per customer. Both SE and LE sold in seconds. I secured my SE.
Atari Flashback secured!!
I've come to say, PayPal screwed me out of atari.
Metal Slug today sold in seconds... Secured my SE copy.
I'm prepared to miss out on this one, also prepared to pay a lot on ebay.
Yep missed out. Out of stock by the time I got to check out.
Snagged my copies of both Atari Classics and Metal Slug 3.
It lasted over one minute but less than two.
So do you guys think that now that we got the bigger releases out of the way that things will cool down at LRG, or do you think Super Meat, Damascus Gear etc will still go super fast?
It's all going to sell super fast, the flipper/investors will see to that sadly.
It was insane in the morning. 1st time ever i missed it — by the time i was about to pay on PP the inventory sold out!!!
Came back in the afternoon and secured it (the afternoon inventory lasted 4 mins!).
I think LRG made a mistake allowing 2 per order on just 2000 copies. I have a feeling most bought 2 to flip one (or both).
I don’t mind paying extra on eBay to keep the full NA set going — after 310 games it’s a roundoff error money-wise. My main scare was stopped being eligible for that mystical rumored very last Vita game offered only to the LRG full setters LOL
Secured both tokyo and osaka... both SEs sold in <1 min... crazy...
Nah crazy? LRG didn't use any purchase limit so that made the quick sellout it already was even worse.
Not that they care, they get their money in seconds anyhow (yes it pisses me off)
Scored the soundtrack bundle of Tokyo and just the game of Osaka. But man oh man, it took almost six hours for all of the soundtrack bundles to finally sell out.
Just saying what's up to my Vita peeps. Last thing I ordered was Mercenary Kings... missed an LRG title I wanted for the first time, sold out in checkout, and that was Metal Slug 3. Had to overpay for it on ebay, opened with no trading card :/ but oh well, loved Metal Slug, couldn't handle not having it, would have opened it anyway, and it's gotten scarce already so there was no "waiting" on a cheap price.
Still waiting on Vasara Collection since I ordered it with the PS4 version.
I really wish Limited Run Games would spend 5 minutes to determine which games out of the last ones are PS-TV compatible. I keep ending up with games that don't work on my system that very easily could have gone directly to someone who wanted it to either play or collect. Without having this information in advance, i've got to buy every title i'm interested in from them "just in case" it works. This is my primary gaming system. It's worth the hassle to me at the end of the day.. It's just hard for me to believe that a game's own publisher wouldn't voluntarily provide crucial compatibility information for a subset of their customers who need it so badly.
I've decided to skip Papers Please because in my mind at least, there's probably a 99% chance (made up stat) that it won't work.
I'm also going to skip Rocket Birds 1 because I own it digitally, and the digital build doesn't work on PS-TV. The physical still very well could still work like how they whitelisted Munch's Oddysee for the physical, but my gut feeling is that it's very very unlikely to work.
I guess i'll get Rocket Birds 2 just in case it works since I have no idea about the situation on the digital version. If it ends up not working however, the game and card will both be scalped separately on eBay. Unless someone here ends up needing it who's missed out.
Deadbolt secured! It sold out in 4 minutes — the market cooling off?
Got my copy ordered this morning also. It isn't so much cooling off as there was just a lack of interest in this game. Actually there seems to be a pretty big lack of interest in most of LRG's remaining Vita titles, save for perhaps "Papers, Please".
Weird that it sold off slower today. I could understand for Damascus Gear soundtrack bundles, but I was expecting Deadbolt to go fast. At least it's less pressure for us...
I still feel that the new site causes more queue and check-out problems than usual though
Which is a shame in my opinion, because I really like Deadbolt.
