    Hey guys;

Got a Vita a month or two ago and I´m in love with it. Great games that just didn´t clicked to me on my PS4 or PS3 (like Rogue Legacy or Hotline Miami) got me totally hooked up on my Vita.
Now, I never had a PSP, or a PS1 so I´m trying to see what I might have missed. Can someone recommend some titles? They don´t need to be the classics (everybody knows about Metal Gear, Sillent Hill, Final Fantasy, etc,...) just games that you had a blast, specially if you already played them on your Vita.

And sorry if this is a repeated post.
    Cheers.

Care to help us out a bit with some genre preferences? I could rattle off a bunch of RPGs but that's about it.

If you like SRPGs there is Jeanne D´Arc that I like a lot. Other games that I like are Tactics Ogre, Daxter, Ridge Racer (for me, better than the Vita version), Killzone Liberation, Resistance, Dissidia, MM Maverick Hunter, Castlevania Drácula X, Valkyria Chronicles (worst than the first game, but very enjoyable) and LocoRoco, among others.

    Patapon is great too!

For PSX I like Legend of Dragoon, Wild Arms, Jumping Flash, Fear Effect, Jade Cocoon, Legacy of Kain, Tobal, Vandal Hearts and Alundra. I don´t know if all these games are available on Vita.

    Enjoy yourself!

I second the recommendations for Patapon and Jeanne D'Arc. There are also various PSP games that play better on the Vita than the PSP due to the option to map the camera controls to the right analog stick. Daxter, Jak and Daxter Lost Frontier and Ratchet and Clank Size Matters all fall into that category. The two God of War games are good and Metal Gera Solid Peace Walker is awesome.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions - both are incredible games to play on Vita

Some of my favourite PS1 games compatible with Vita in Europe:

    - Crash Bandicoot 1/2/3 & Crash Team Racing
    - Final Fantasy VII/VIII/IX
    - Metal Gear Solid
    - Ridge Racer Type 4
    - Spryo the Dragon 1/2/3

(All the classics. I find there's a lot of junky stuff in the European PS1 section and a load of good games like Command & Conquer & Theme Hospital aren't compatible).

Some of my favourite PSP games compatible with Vita in Europe:

    - Ape Escape Portable
    - Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars
    - Daxter
    - Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories
    - Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops
    - Ratchet: Size Matters
    - Ridge Racer
    - Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron
    - Tekken 6
    - WipEout Pure/Pulse
    - Ys: Oath in Felghana

(again, loads of great stuff that isn't compatible).

If I were to only recommend a few games, it would be the bolded ones.

I'd recommend Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky and WipEout Pulse (better than Pure IMO)

Klonoa and Tombi! are both awesome platformers, the latter with more puzzle focus. Suikoden II might be my favorite PS1 RPG among the ones available in Europe. Anything with Mega Man is obviously good too.

If you live in Europe, there's a great retro sale that sells PS1 and PSP for a very cheap price.

WOW, I forgot the Ys and the Legend of Heroes series, two great reasons why I liked to much of my old PSP.

There's a lot of games that I don't remember now.

Only in Japan PS Store, I think...but I downloaded XI (Devil Dice) because that was the puzzle game I most enjoyed on PSone. Highly recommended if you have a Japanese account + PSN money card.
