Is it worth getting the game alone? I want the game I may have to go digital
From what I've heard, yes, definitely worth getting it standalone.
Indeed, I'm looking at it. I really can't afford this month. However I previously plunked for physical Bloodstained, and now they've done an additional opportunity to fund towards that, so I'm wondering if the same will happen of this.
The one thing I don't like with these physical kickstarters, is for a collection, I kinda feel like I'm being held over a barrel.
I did $1 which it says will allow you to upgrade your reward package after the campaign ends. Now I can budget for it
Good shout! Will do that now.
.. Can someone give me a rundown of the series. I'd like to pledge but I won't just pit down $80 for nothing. I need more info on the series
Caved and upgraded form the $80 to $150 tier, that statue was too much of a draw!
If it's your first Figma I think you'll be very impressed by it, I'm a bit of a Figma collector myself. I already backed the $150 level and It was a hell of a surprise for them to add a limited edition Figma as I normally pay around $50 each for mine when I include shipping, depending on how limited this is can also really raise the value to $100+. I'm going to get the Gravity Daze (Rush) PS4 asian/english release with the Kat Figma as that looks awesome too.
But now I'm also tempted by the hard cover artbook with 400-500 glossy full color pages *sigh* when did Vita collecting get so expensive?
It does look really nice but product shots are product shots so I was tempering expectations, but that's good to hear.
Vita collecting really is getting expensive, at least we have a small amount of regular releases these next few months to sort of catch up.
Check out this video of the SAO Kirito Figma - (one I own) to see what to expect from the Muv-Luv one, basically what they show you in the picture is the same quality as what you will get.
I've still not decided whether to get the Codex or not.
I decided to go for this one despite it being completely out of my wheelhouse. If anything I could probably regift it to a more visual novel minded friend who owns a Vita which is a venn diagram with much overlap.
Everyone get their Backerkit survey? I can't decide what to do about this...
Would you like your Vita Collector's Box to include a custom signed Mini-Shikishi or for the box itself to be signed?
I opted for the signed card inside, no sense messing up the outer box
I donated and still no email.... I did the $1 so I could upgrade later
Nvm. I got the email. Physical vita version!
Torn on whether I should go strictly physical or physical collectors. Quite an upcharge but do you guys think it is worth it?
Last night's Kickstarter update: PC version out in mid-July, Vita "a few" months later - including a mention of physical production.
Got my Steam keys! Can't decide if I should play now or wait for the Vita version to arrive. I still find it crazy how many digital copies you get with the Physical Vita CE due to getting the tiers before it. Made it a really good deal though. Anyone else loaded it up yet?
I'm thinking about it - let us know if you try and like it!
Did you see their latest update that they were considering sending the first vita cart early along with some other goods?? I'm down for that for sure:
"We'll also try our best to get Muv-Luv (Extra + Unlimited) PS Vita delivered in the main shipment (first bullet point), so that we can focus on Alternative going forward (third bullet point)."
We've brainstormed real hard on how to handle shipment in a way that will make everyone happy, and we'd like to run our solution by backers before committing to anything.
How do you feel about the following?
All physical rewards ship at the same time, including the collector's box.
The collector's box will have everything inside of it (figures, Codex, etc.) except for the DVD/cartridge for Alternative. The first game (Extra+Unlimited) will be included.
The final part of the collector's box set, Alternative, will be shipped out in a smaller, lighter package as soon as it's ready"
Starting to sound like we might be getting our rewards pretty soon, I'm quite excited!

one of the very few Kickstarters I regret not backing
Downloaded it as well but have yet to play it. In of the recent Kickstarter updates they mentioned in passing that they are just now beginning to port the game to Vita (it's way at the bottom in the last paragraph). As someone who has no idea how this process works, of course I don't know what that means in terms of a timeframe, but I think after I've finished my current VN, I'll get to this one next. Too interested in this to wait for the port, especially when it's already waiting on my harddrive
Vita porting has just started, according to this update?
Director's Cut patch is now available for the Steam version!
Edit: Kresnik Wow, I did NOT see that you had posted a link to the same update lol.
