There are a lot of games that are on the PSN Stores that cannot be played on the PS Vita. Be it licensing issues, or another, there are a lot of them. There are also games that can be played, assuming you have a PS3 handy. If you use Content Manager to transfer content already downloaded on a PS3 system, you can play those games on your Vita.

I am going to start compiling a list of all PSP and PS1 titles that can be transferred with this method. However, I need your input as well. I'm going to put in as many as I know of that can be transferred through this method that cannot be downloaded directly to the Vita. I will be showing US content, though. Anyone in the US or EU that sees something you've known to be PS3 Transferrable, add in future posts and it will be updated. Feel free to add anything to this that you want, as we want to eventually make a definitive list.

Thanks for this! I was gutted when the command and conquer games were pulled from vita's PSN but I'll give this a shot.

Can I use a friends PS3 and download games I want from there, then pull it up on my system when I get home?

Not looking to get a PS3 for this purpose.

Yes, you can make a new user and log into your account on your friend's PS3, then download the game and transfer it - then go home and play it.

The only restriction is that it must be downloaded and transferred using the PS3, you don't need one to play it once you have it on there.

Another question pertaining to this, would I be able to purchase one of these games from the PSN directly from the site and would it be possible that it will show in my download history so maybe I can get it that way or is transferring plus content manager the only way. I want Silent Hill and a few other PS3 only PS1 games?
