Could October 11th become Play Asia's first ever mad rush sell out date?

Pretty awesome! Looks like STAY's pre-order date has been moved up as well, definitely going for both! Highly doubt either one will be selling out fast though.

I would be very surprised if this one didn't sell out in a day....shooters print money, always have always will.

It'll be Stay only for me, most likely, and even for that I'll have to give it another good look. Money's tight this month (with the Vita magazine kickstarter and all), and I wanna make sure I spend it on the best games I can get :D

I'll have to look into Stay. Hopefully its more Lone Survivor and less Uncanny Valley.

There's no time mentioned, I think, just a date. Their front page doesn't even advertise Stay and it's curiously hard (or not possible?) to find it via their regular search engine. I got the link via the email so it should be okay. I'm at work today, but I guess I can every now and then open the page again to see. 1,300 copies is an incredibly small number however, with no separate LE to go for, so I'm hoping you guys are right they won't go as fast...

Yep, me too. I thought the coupon took a % off the order, but it looks like it takes out 2,69 € per order no matter the total price.

Damn, that's sneaky! Would definitely not have thought of that if I had wanted both.

Also helps if their shipping dates differ (though on the flipside, it's worse for the environment)

I really don't get why Play Asia titles don't sell out in minutes rather than hours/days. There limited editions have been getting better and better with each one.
Size of boxes are great ,all include include manuals, music cd's and only a couple of quid more than LRG standard editions.

Puzzles me but hey ho I've got mine and I'll back all of Play Asia's that hopefully are to follow. :)

I use to have this crazy theory that would so easily solve that mystery, as I must confess it perplexes me still even now. The only game that has had a LRG-esque sellout from them so far has been the LE boxed copy of UnEpic, which sold so fast even I didn't get in on it. I have, again a crazy theory, that maybe, just maybe, Play-Asia/EAS isn't truthful about their production numbers. And yes, that would be shameful if it were the case, but I can't really explain their slow sales times any other way.

So my thought on this, purely hypothetical theory is that the LE of UnEpic was a experiment with actually producing exactly what they advertised in order to stop looking so suspicious. But then we have to somehow account for the numbered box or certificate included with each copy, and that's where I'm getting a bit baffled as to how they are pulling this off, if they're pulling something off on us at all. We know from LRG that cart production alottements are now pre-destined, at least for R1 & R2 publishers, so they can't make last minute changes. But we don't know if that same holds true for R3 and JP R2 publishers or not. It really is quite the thing to mull over though.
