This sale is FANTABULOUS!! Definitely picking up most of these titles.
Anyone got any views on Rainbow Moon or Kickbeat? These two have my eye!
How are Dustforce and The Walking Dead on the Vita? I'm tempted to pick 'em up.
I got the Cross-Buy bundle for around the same price when it was discounted in the January Sale, but I haven't played the game yet. Kickbeat has also my attention at that price.
I don't know about Walking Dead (as I don't usually play this type of games), but Dustforce has a demo so you can test it before buying. I found Dustforce's game demo to be unfitting for the Vita but that's my personal opinion and opinions may vary depending on who yoy ask.
Walking Dead plays great, was in our list of best of 2013, it is awesome on the Vita
With this sale on, I won't have any cash leftover. I will be picking up the majority of these games I don't have.
Indeed, forgot about the demo being available - will check it. Thanks
You almost have me convinced. Just not sure if I'll like the game itself - I find Vita best for short burst kind of gaming, with a background story being mostly an unnecessary annoyance. Thanks
It is a game you must play. One of a kind experience really. If you don't mind a graphics downgrade go with the Vita, however controls are far easier on the Vita (You just need to touch a portion of the screen for Vita rather than hover the cursor to a point in panic events)
Anyway whatever you choose I strongly recommend playing TWD if you love a game with a solid story.
We have reviews on both.
There are at least five games in there that I need to buy, EDF, Let's Fish and Rainbow Moon for starters.
Haha, have already had a read just seeing if anyone else recommends them as a purchase, think it is inevitable that I will buy them, I'm just trying to justify a purchase as have a backlog growing from all these sales!
I still haven't played the games I bought from last month's sale, bloody Football manager is eating all of my time. This handheld gaming device is supposed to make gaming easier, not harder!
I was enjoying Rainbow Moon, a bit of a FF Tactics (very) lite. But after about 25 hours it got a bit samey, a bit grindey and FF X appeared. I will go back to it, but at the non-PS+ price it is pretty good value.
One criticism of it is that you start on your own but quickly get 2 characters, your max party is 3. A while later you get a couple more but they are so under-levelled that it is a pain having them in the squad to get their level up - you basically have to keep them away from direct battle so upping their levels is slow. I thought that was a flaw, it's good getting other characters to incorporate but they should be at a similar level when they join.
I have a backlog that includes Lone Survivor, Fez, Stick it to the Man, Terraria, TWD, Dokuro, Gunslugs and more, not to mention Danganronpa and Rayman Legends, may give this sale a miss haha
What an awesome sale, I got EDF and Kickbeat but will get OlliOlli later on if Roll7 did release the patch.
All based on Vita Lounge Reviews!
I'm really into rpgs, so I'm going for sorcery saga. Any games you guys can reccomend?
Lets us know whether you agree or not....
What a sale...
Here are the games I already own which I recommend:
- Stealth Inc, Thomas was Alone, either individually or with the Curve Mega Bundle
- Virtua Tennis 4 (at €4 this should be an instabuy if you like Tennis)
- The Walking Dead (didn't play that one on Vita but on X360... still, it's a great adventure, at €6 go for it if you haven't played it already)
- Guacamelee and Hotline Miami are free on PSN+, but otherwise they're both brilliant games.
If you play AdHoc with your kids or friends, it's worth noting that Spelunky and Vitua Tennis allow you to play AdHoc with up to 3 other players. Spelunky is also cross-play.
Terraria is cross-play also but you'll need to be connected to PSN, no AdHoc there.
Yep just as soon as i finish FFX and FFX-2...... See you in like half a year!
All stars battle royale doesn't work, so buyer beware.
I also have these, and can recommend all of them. Some excellent games in the sale!
I'm adding these to my pile of shame:
Virtue's Last Reward
possibly CastleStorm as well.
Not on PSN but anyone want any Lego LOTR for under £9 (UK)?
