    Hey guys,

Quick PSP question. I'm looking to get the biggest memory card for it that I can find, so that I can slap a HUGE number of digital titles, as it's too fiddly taking discs around and I'm accumilating too many.

However, the prices for Sony memory cards, 16gb, are still ridiculously expensive.

Can anyone tell me a.) what the biggest size is for a PSP memory card and b.) does anyone know of the cheapest ones that can be used?

The biggest I know is 16gb but what you could do is buy a micro sd to MS Pro Duo adapter, then you could use any micro SD card out there (I know people using it with 64gb memory cards because it's cheaper too)

They look like this and most people I know get them from eBay.

Holy cow! Those are much cheaper than the ones for sale here in Japan.

I'm actually looking to hack the PSP to be honest, as I own just about all the PSP games I want. I just don't want to lug them around in my back. There's always that one game you forgot to take, and then you have the urge to play it when it's not around.

So I'm tempted to get that £2.00. But the seller doesn't send abroad,

I got one of those through the post. But there's a problem.

I fit in my recently purchases 200gb sans disc into the dual slot adaptor, and the PSP can't seem to read it.

Would I be right in saying that 200gb is too large for the PSP i.e. it's not programmed to recognise such a big memory card? If so, what is the largest size sans disc that the PSP would be able to read?

No idea about 200gb, but I did found out someone using 2x 128gb mentioning you need homebrew on you PSP for that.

You need to ensure the Sd card is formatted to fat32 via your pc first

And obviously your psp needs to be modified/hacked - very easy

I have two 128gig cards in mine so haven't tried a 256gig card, but I suspect once formatted correctly it should be fine

Oh, I didn't know it needs to be modded for this.... and I don't have a slot in my laptop to format a card of this size.

Well, looks like this option is out of the question. But at least it was only £1.70 so no harm done. I reckon I'll have to just order the right kind of card.
