Hey I have that. I find it too bloody hard lol. I made a noob mistake today. I saw GBA Ninja Cop in CeX today and paid 25 quid. I did look it over, it had the Nintendo white print on the PCB, proper cut off on the back and numbers pressed into the label, but I overlooked the Gameb Advance text embossed on the front, it's too thin, plus the label is slightly incorrect. Was worth the chance tho. I'll be going back tomorrow for a refund.

You nearly scored there , and then again you saved yourself from losing a few hundred quid for it to if you bought if off eBay.

Yeah, CEX take anything and everything in and if whoever's working in there doesn't know how to spot a good fake a few sneak in I guess.

Though I've been buying quite a few bits from my local lately , disney infinity figures and skylanders as they look good on my game shelves especially when CEX are selling some for 10 pence ...yes 10 pence ! :)

Today's arrival as I've just got in from a 12 hour shift ( it's how I pay for them but sometimes I do question myself is it worth it but I normally answer myself back with a hell yeah ! )

Another megadrive shooter to the collection ,

That artwork is great. It's on my list to buy at some point. Trouble is atm there's a few things I need money for so MD games keep getting pushed back. My rent on the bow I use at Archery is up soon so ideally I would like to buy a bow and a set of arrows so there's a few quid.

I think you should start your own YT channel. You've got some cracking games to play.

Having a tidy up/sort out and thought I'd post this little collection of mine on here , this has literally took years and I mean years of trying to locate the games. It's my gp32 (gamepark32) cib collection.

You seriously have no idea how jealous I am! I bought mine back in the day from Craig at gbax if I renege correctly, the 180mhz overclocked unit? and I played Doom so much. I know how hard it is to even find those let alone afford them. They look great, an excellent job Sir.

Yes Craig from gbmax was the one you went to if you needed anything gp32 related.

It's just missing one game and I'll have the full released set although I've had a few leads over the years I've never seen it for sale apart from one Korean website, I went through a middleman but alas it didn't work out :(

You never know , maybe one day.

The gp32 was great I was playing every megadrive game in my hands years before it became the norm. :)

Wait what? I had to Google that one, and it's a Korea-only console? That is pretty awesome!

What's the relation with MD though?

Got this yesterday for cheap. Sega Genesis was my very first home console ever back in the 90's and now got this nice collection of 40+ Genesis games for the PS3. Has trophies, save states and supports custom soundtracks. Playing Comic Zone, Streets of Rage 2, Shinobi 3, etc. while listening to trance music is an icing on the cake.

It was one of the first true emulation systems , it ran megadrive roms perfectly and that was back in 91ish it could even do movies to you could also pay to download the commercial games ....like sega ahead of its time.

Whoa!! Nuts! But where'd you get MD roms? Would certain shops carry bootlegs? Or..?
I mean, the first ROM I emulated was Pokemon Silver on a floppy disk so there's a lot of possibilities xD

He meant "01-ish", not "91ish". Zophar's Domain is the hotbed of Emulator distribution on the internet practically since the dawning of the internet itself. The GamePark 32 handheld was created with open source development and emulation in mind, hence why the retail release games for it are so few in number and incredibly rare. :
    https://www.zophar.net/consoles/gp32.html

Lik-Sang was a big perveyuor of the GamePark back in the early days, but Nintendo & Sony collectively sued that company into oblivion leaving their competitor Play-Asia as the only online retailer catering to international buyers from which one could readily purchase GP32 systems. From a technical standpoint, Lik-Sang committed no crime, but rather lost lawsuits in international courts over contractual agreements with both Sony & Nintendo for selling "cheat devices", non-licensed games & system accessories, and in Nintendo's case programmable cartridges for Nintendo systems which could be used for emulation purposes.

Fantastic port. Its missing a couple of levels if I remember correct but it plays so darn well. I might actually prefer it over the PC Engine CD port (which has the stages, but doesn't feel quite as fun to play in my opinion).
