A Vita version was announced on the PS Blog. Retro City Rampage became pretty cool after the patches and with the DX version so I look forward to this.
I thought Retro was still considered by the Vita community a bad game, post patch and DX? For the record, I loved it.
Not sure. I think I've mostly read people who enjoyed it or at least thought it was OK. I thought it was occasionally really awesome but some of the missions towards the end got a bit annoying.
I played Retro City a lot and thats why i Pre Ordered the Retail Version some Months ago ( i never pre order something). So im really suprised and happy that a sequel to one of my favorite Indie Games is coming! I really hope it gets a retail release
I enjoyed RCR, but didn't 'love' it. I think it just seemed to tail off towards the end. Still, Shakedown Hawaii looks great, so I'll probably grab it on release
Vita physical version could follow PS4. Taken from Reddit... wilbursmith22 Will Shakedown: Hawaii get a physical release for Vita... BriProv Shakedown will definitely be getting a physical release. My focus at launch will probably be PS4 first, but PS Vita could likely follow. https://www.reddit.com/r/PSP/comments/4tmefs/retro_city_rampage_dx_stealth_released_today_for/
Sounds good, I'd like to think a physical Vita release is fairly likely, since the physical release of RCR did well. Hopefully as long as the digital version of Shakedown does well then we should see one sooner rather than later.
PSX trailer. I think this game will turn out to be what I hoped RCR would've been. Also I love the soundtrack from everything I've heard.
according to VBlank's site Shakedown Hawaii is coming for the Vita in 2017. I am sure it will come out, but my guess is it will be a while. As for Retro City I thought it was a pretty good game, I haven't completed it but did enjoy it.
Shakedown: Hawaii's still on the way! Thanks to all of you for your patience. It's taking a long time to build, but I'm confident that once you play it, you'll feel it was worth the wait. It's larger than Retro City Rampage was in every way: from its world, to its missions, cutscenes, interactivity, environment and animation! Be sure to add it to your Steam Wishlist, here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/598730 So, what's the latest? Here's a quick rundown, below... When's it coming out? The majority of the development right now involves cohesively melding the story, missions, gameplay and humor, as well as nailing the pacing and flow. This is an indeterminate process that includes playing the game over and over, and finding spots which need connective tissue, better placements for certain missions or story beats, punching up jokes and dialogue, and overall just making it as fun as possible. While post-launch patches could fix potential bugs or add features, they wouldn't be ideal for such core aspects of the game, thus its release date is still "when it's ready". When's the next trailer? I'm aiming to have a new trailer done in the near future, but right now every minute is being spent on the game itself. I'd like to get more things wrapped up on the development side first. In the meantime, check out dozens of short clips, here: https://twitter.com/RetroCR/media What's it coming out on? It'll be released digitally on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS VITA and Nintendo 3DS, and physically on select platforms, including, yes, PS VITA, which, yup, supports PS TV too!
MINE. Now I just hope I can get ahold of it >.< It better not be at some time that's impossible for me to log on to.
