I didnt see one of these and I love to show off. You all know the drill. Show off what you got!
So this isn't exclusive to Vita eh? But er, how do you show off Digital purchases? My most recent stuff has been from Steam/PSN.
Well, rather than take screenshots of my Steam library/Vita Homescreen, I'll just do this:
And I've got this pre-ordered, waiting to be downloaded in 3 days:
These were the last two things I purchased, though they were purchased nearly a week apart from one another. The remote is a PS3 remote that I'm going to use when I watch Netflix, DVD, Blu Rays, etc on the system which is what I use the system for 9-% of the time, anyways. Not a bad deal since it's on sale at Best Buy right now for $16.99
As far as Metal Gear Solid, I already owned it digital. However, with how rare it has been getting lately, I couldn't pass it up when I saw it at Best Buy for $24.99.
Cant show it off yet because I just ordered it but I bought an internal hard drive for my ps3.
750gb Blue Sata 5400rpm 8mb 2.5in 6gb/S
I bought my Sony remote control for $10!
Borderlands 2 Vita baby!
Since this is Off Topic I'm guessing I can show off these bad boys.
Got into Gundam model building in the last month so been busy.
Some games that DuhWhitePanda and I bought.
I was going to buy Borderlands 2 but my local overpriced retail store doesn't have and hasn't received any games or accesories for the Vita for in the past 4 months....
Shows how great its doing!
They do have bundled Vita Slims with Borderlands 2 at $451 though.
Sweet! Love me some dragon age. Can't wait for inquisition.
Wow! You can get 2 bundles + a game for that price!
I remember going out with Brandon to buy this. The guy at Gamestop said, " I'm banning your husband from my store, just to make sure you and your son are taken care of. He's been in here five times this week."
And there we go. That "unknown" name has been finally revealed. I don't feel special no more
My envy, all of my envy, take it! Hmm nothing to show off just yet though, my pickups begin the first two weeks of June =3
Oh I will!
But really--- you're not missing out on much I'm about halfway through and honestly it's just not a very fun rhythm game if you don't know Japanese. I know some Japanese; I can usually put together the lyrics because I know Japanese particles, and so I know what goes where most of the time, but it's still not 'fun' because I'm missing out on the language-based entertainment of it. And outside of that, you really don't get much simpler rhythm gameplay than Uta Kumi; you just tap left and right on the screen (front and back touch), and that's really about it--- it's not enthralling like other rhythm games, where the gameplay accentuates the music by being challenging and chaotic. Uta is just pretty static.
It's not bad, but I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who hasn't an intermediate level of Japanese vocabulary/kanji and grammar. There's also story-segments in this game, which is unique for a rhythm title but, again, I dunno enough Japanese to enjoy it, and that kind of saps some more out of this game
EDIT: By the way, do you know Japanese? I noticed you've the katakana spelling for your username､ クリスティナ
That's because I'm kind of like you, I know my particles, decent vocabulary and some kana (In fact, the whole reason I did my username like such is to get prepared to force better learning on myself before I take official courses). My biggest problem is I know a good bit in terms of oral/spoken but god help me on the written side. So hearing the songs themselves, I can roughly make out and translate provided they sing with a decent amount of clarity. However those story sections, are they voiced? If they're not and it's sounding like that's the case, then I'd be out of luck too Still, my immediate attraction to the title, is that I've always wanted SEGA to do their own Vocaloid stuff. They tend to overrely on using IP from others in different markets instead of developing their own meaningful IP (like Aliens in the west and Miku in Japan). And well, knowing SEGA, I don't think they'd localize this either.
PS Vita 2000 Capture Card and Borderlands 2.
I got a pretty sweet package in the mail for my Vita, the Asia English version of Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment, and it is really fun so far. I think fans of the anime and MMOs are going to love it.
I also may have ordered a "few" of the Godzilla movies I still needed to convert from VHS to DVD/Blu Ray
Where did you get the English version of Sword Art Online?
I imported from Play-Asia. They have both the Japanese and the Asia English version of the game. It's a different translation than the EU/US version is going to have. You can tell it was a rush job. It's not translated well, but it is enough to read and know everything going on and read menus. Actually, Menus are translated really well. But the dialogue is a little iffy.
Awesome, I get things from Play Asia.
Mr. Panda and I were talking about how we both skipped the Gamecube in favor of the Playstation 2. While we do have a Wii [Seen in picture] that is capable of playing gamecube games, we wanted that original feeling. As you can see, we bought a Gamecube for $7! If anyone has some game suggestions, we'd love to hear them.
If you got a Gamecube and didn't get Resident Evil you're committing a crime.
