    Hey All,

I'm Brian AKA Darkknezz and Ive been in the wireless industry for over 15 years. I managed wireless retail locations, spent 9 years at LG Electronics Mobilecomm as a trainer and training manager and now I am in the accessory side of the business at Speck Products as a Field Marketing Manager.

So I thought i would start a discussion about smartphones and see what people think.

What do you think is the hottest phone out now? What are you using or looking forward to?

I am currently using an LG G3 and G Vista. I also have a Nexus 5 on deck if i need it.

What do you all think of these?

Been reading some reviews and so far they are not good. I did get to play with it at one of my ATT stores when they got the demo, it was decent.

Now to say they are all shit is ridiculous as well.

I have the Note 5 and my buddy has the Nexus 6P.

I personally think the Note 5 is the best phone you can buy. Of course it will cost you the most as well.

The Nexus 6P is a damn fine phone as well, but the camera still falls short when compared to the Samsung line. That is really the only issue the 6P that I could find, and for $200+ less than the Note 5, that makes it one hell of a phone.

Not a big follower of the latest smartphones, but I love my Huawei Y550, though I may be a little biased since my last phone was a Galaxy Mini, and prior to that a good ole indestructible Nokia! ;)

I've switched to my nexus 5 with marshmallow on my personal line. I may get a new nexus next year. I like pure android and getting the updates first. For my business line I'm considering either iPhone 6/6s or the +/s+

It looks as though Qualcomm is finally back on track to be #1 again with their upcoming Snapdragon 820.

My first phone was the SE W830i. Awesome Phone. Then I bought the Xperia Play. I got tired of replacing the flex cable every 4 months, so I decommissioned it. :p
Now I use the Xperia E3. No more costly smart phones for me.

I've had the 6 (64gb) for the best part of a year now. Had the 4 before that but both are work phones so I don't get a say and seeing as they pay the bill and allow me unlimited private use I don't push my luck, especially considering how expensive plans are in Canada. Mrs pays $85 a month for unlimited Canada-wide calls & texts and only 750 mb data. She also had to pay $150 for a 5S 16gb about 8 months ago.

Like the 6 myself as a work phone, does what I need pretty well, especially when I'm travelling for work. Find it a big improvement on the 4 but seeing as I missed a generation out that's not surprising. Back before, when I had to buy and pay for them myself I had a Samsung S2 (at least I think it was the 2, could have been the S3). To be honest I found iOS easier to pick up when I first went to iPhone 4 and wasn't overly impressed with the Samsung in general but I understand they and in particular Android have improved significantly since then. If I had to get one for personal use now I would be interested in trying the Sony Xperia if they were not exclusive to Bell here in Canada. It's the cell phone equivalent of Rise of the Tomb Raider being an XB1 exclusive (but forever).

Samsung line of smarthphones are pretty reliable in my opinion, keyboard could be better in my opinion though.
