Well, to the best of my knowledge, this is the first time I have seen Sony come and say they are done with 1st party games on the Vita and that will focus all their attention on the PS4. Everything before now in my opinion was just speculation and hearsay. This is why other sites are also talking about it right now.

Guess I'm never getting my InFamous Vita then.

Since he's referring to first party studios, a tiny part of me holds out hope that we'll still get some second party porting - stuff from Gio Corsi's team and maybe a few HD Collections like we got with Sly/Ratchet/GoW etc.

But probably not. Even the indie announcements seem to have dried up this year. At least we're getting a last hurrah of Japanese localizations to make 2016 worthwhile.

Japanese games. TBH, that's all we need and require now anyway.
I don't think many people need anything else outisde of the Japanese localisations.

I am surprised that Sony came out and flat out said their 1st party department is done making Vita games.

Well, I´d like to see some new games like InFamous, God of War and Gran Turismo on Vita. But OK if it´s not happen. I am very happy with japanese third party support, I expect this happen at least until 2017.

I think Mateus wants a new God of War, exclusive to Vita.

Yes, what I´d like to see is a new GoW made for PSVita, not a port. PSP had two great GoW games, on Vita would be even more great. Same to Gran Turismo.

Does anyone know how the preorders for the blue Vita in the US are getting along? Will this give the Vita a little push over there?
