Thanks for the link, the more the merrier i say, not sure about their name, but as long as they can all get along then its only a good thing for more physical games (well that along with the pricing and shipping fees!)
Edit: just looked on Twitter i see they are based in Germany, so that's good for us in Europe for cheaper delivery hopefully.

I'm on the mailing list. Is tokyo 42 a vita game as well? Looks pretty cool and not like any other physical released games i've played

Nope its PS4 only, i was interested in it, the alot of the reviews complain about the size of the characters, fine on a computer screen but for console players 5-6 feet away from the TV its pretty hard to see.

    Sure no problem AJ77. :)

They say they'll be releasing one game a month. Makes me wonder if that will be both one Vita and one PS4 game, or just one or the other. Plus with this publisher just starting out, makes me assume the quantity size will be rather small.

Thanks for the info @Retro8bit. More company publishing physical games are always welcome.

I don't mind limited quantities as long as I can acquire them within adequate level of difficulty.

As I collect for my personal collection, If I have to pay "Hundreds of $$$" for 1 game just because they are only 100s being produced, it's no longer fun in my opinion.

I will join their mailing list. This looks to be fun.

Ditto. Hope they really stick to one a month, a flood is gonna be hard to keep up with.

Plus I think we can all agree the competition between the two publishers will be a good thing, because we the gamers are the ones to benefit from it. :)

Ok, but how do I get one when it's that limited? Should I wait or pay more or something? I have a little extra cash from www.gamestore.live/wot-accounts/ times

Yes, PS4 only. I shot them an email this morning asking about what their first Vita title would be. Still waiting for a reply.

Anybody picking up Tokyo 42? It's being released on November 11th with 2600 copies available.

They put up a post on Facebook a few hours ago teasing their first Vita release.

"Exclusive western physical release of a Japanese gem. For PS Vita."

It appears to be Sayonara Umihara Kawase. Someone in the comments pointed that out and they replied he was "pretty close". It's the only game that developer seems to have made for the Vita though, so there really would be no way to be too far off with your guesses in that regard.

That would be a really nice first offering!

Oh that'd be an interesting first Vita game. I'll have to get it to replace my Japanese copy.

I've had that on my Play-Asia wishlist for ages, would be awesome to get western physical copy.

Also a surprisingly high-profile first Vita game to release too.

So I'm a tad confused. Even though these guys are based in Germany their releases still count as a western release? Does this mean it still applies as part of a North American collection then?

I'm glad to see new developer for Vita, but anybody else a little bothered by the name? To me "strictly limited games" is a bit too close to "limited run games" with also having a similar business model.

At this point, even if they don't put the "limited" part on the company's name, you just have to assume that every physical print is going to be in the low quantities.

I guess "The West" means different things to different people, but I always considered it to mean "European cultures that spread throughout the world". At least Wikipedia seems to think the same.

But their releases won't count towards the NA set I don't think. I recently read on a German forum that they were still debating on how to implement potential age ratings logos. As we're all aware, the USK logos look horrible, but for some reason have a legally defined size and shape that publishers have to adhere to. It would be legal to sell games without them if you did it online like them, but they would then be "unrated", hence "adults only" for German customers. While that would have no effect on international customers, their German buyers would need to pay upwards of triple the amount of normal shipping fees for a legally required shipping method in which the mailman has to check your ID to make sure you're allowed to buy "adult material". Quite the dilemma! Will be interesting to see how this turns out.

Strictly Limited just released a pic of it, exclusive cover art and all. They also said it's going to be an updated version of the 2015 release, hense the "Plus Plus ++.":)
