The reversible cover art is exclusive to the Wonderful Edition that was bought straight from Gaijinworks right? VGP one (and retail) is just the normal white cover?

Oh glory, got my shipping notice too! Even says that it has been shipped on Nov 9th. Also looking forward to the immense customs fee such an oversized shipping box is going to incur :D

Edit: according to USPS my copy is in Germany already! Not long until payment is due then, hopefully!

Mine's at my local depot & tracking says...

    ...awaiting payment of customs charges...

    20% VAT - $32.60

    2.5% Customs duty - $4.10

Royal Mail Administration Fee - $10.00

    Total $46.70

    £35.65

    And maybe another 6%...

Oh well, I knew what fees I'd have to pay!

Mine just says “collect for pickup” for now, but undoubtedly this won’t slip by because of its size and weight, and I would assume customs would be extra thorough in their checks with Christmas coming up.

Depending on how they calculate exchange rate and whether or not they deem it worthy of customs fees in addition to VAT, I’ll be looking at 30 - 40 € myself - plus time off work to drive out to them and pick the thing up of course.

But it’s been so long at this point (ordered on 5 September 2016) that it doesn’t hurt that much. Plus, from the pictures I’ve seen, this looks like one of the nicest Vita LEs ever, so I can’t stay mad for long :)

That was faster than expected. Got my letter from customs this morning and drove off as quickly as I could to still get there before they close for today. Only had to pay VAT of 26,36 € and no additional fees!

I have to hand it to the customs office though - not only did I need to open the shipping box to prove that I'm not a fraud and really did buy that $168 video game that's on the invoice I presented them with (admittedly, the declared value on the package was false, set to "just" $100 for whatever reason). They also had me remove the wrapping and open up the CE box to spread out every single piece inside it on their counter for further inspection. I get it, it's their job. Not everyone knows what video game collector's editions usually look like. Better safe than sorry and all that. Still seemed a bit overkill.

Got my Parcel Force ransom note today.

    £25.06 Import VAT

    £11.25 Clearance Fee

Paid it online & it'll be delivered next Tuesday.

Glad your fees were lower than expected! :)

That seems ridiculous that you have to open it up in front of them. What if you wanted to keep it sealed?
