    What is PlayStation Plus?

PlayStation Plus is a premium online subscription service which offers extras for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation Vita.

What benefits does PlayStation Plus offer?

Your PlayStation Plus subscription offers you the ability to download and play as many games from the Instant Game Collection as you like for no additional cost as long as your subscription is active. You'll also get the ability to store up to 1 GB of your game saves remotely on a cloud server as well as gaining the benefit of automatic update downloads and automatic trophy sync. If that’s not enough, Plus members also get invitations to special game betas, discounts on selected games on the PlayStation Store, and the ability to use your Plus account across all the systems you're logged into. If you keep an eye out for our posts on PlayStation Plus you will find more details and discounts.

If you own a PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4, you'll be pleased to know that a Plus subscription covers all consoles logged into with the account you bought Plus on for a single cost.

How much does PlayStation Plus cost?

A PlayStation Plus subscription costs £5.49/€6.99/$9.99 for thirty days, £11.99/€14.99/$17.99 for 90 days, or £39.99/€49.99/$49.99 for a whole year. In order to continue to play the games you've downloaded from the Instant Game Collection your subscription must remain active, and if you join up at a later point you will not be able to add the games to your collection that have come and gone while you weren't subscribed, though you will be able to re-download or re-activate any games you've previously downloaded from the service.

What games have been on/are currently on PlayStation Plus in my region?

Below is a comprehensive list of PlayStation Vita games (not including PSP titles) that made it to the Instant Game Collection since its inception. Links to reviews on the games are included where available.

I don't know if it's available in NA but in EU there is the option to purchase a 30-day subscription for 7€. Just to be accurate.

In the UK there have been the odd PS+ subscription deals so I would recommend keeping an eye out on http://www.hotukdeals.com/ - one on there at the moment for £30 from Curry's for a year, £10 cheaper than full price.
I understand that the PS store also has some offers but I have not seen any yet.

I can't recommend PSN+ enough. I had a PS3 for while but never really looked into it. I subscribed in December when getting the PS4 and the Vita. I get 5 free games per month, and extra discounts on already really generous sales. I'm really happy with it. I wish I had joined earlier.

Not tracking PSP games, just PSVita ones - PSP games are filler. :/

Hotline Miami and MotoGP 13. Both solid titles that I am glad I paid for. An absolute steal at free!

EU's April Content (goes live 2nd April):
    - Mercenary Kings (PS4)
    - Pro Evolution Soccar 2014 (PS3)
    - Sly Cooper 4: Thieves in Time (Cross-buy)
    - Hotline Miami (Cross-Buy)
    - MotoGP 13 (Vita)

So that's technically 3 PS3 and 3 Vita titles. Sly 4 and Hotline Miami are excellent titles. Looking forward to giving MotoGP a go too :)

Awesome! I already have Hotline Miami, but Sly 4 I only had for PS3 and since I bought an american version (found it in games store 2 weeks before Polish premiere) I couldn't take advantage of cross-buy for Vita.

Anyone know if there are plans to port Mercenary Kings to Vita?

Did I read 'Polish'? :) A fellow countryman, welcome!

Not to go off-topic too much, I played through Sly on the Vita and it was very good, although I heard and read that the PS3 version looked significantly better. The gameplay itself was fun, though.

To stay on topic.. I've never played the Sly series but I'm very excited for the God of War collection.

Sorry for spamming this thread, but I can't see a better one: anyone know a good - i.e. Cheap - place to get a new 1 year PS+ subscription (UK)?

This thread is for anything PlayStation Plus - that's a completely valid question to ask here :)
Not sure tbh, but I'll ask on Twitter for you.

Edit; was pointed HERE, hope it helps (if not let me know!)

I usually use CDKeys, with 5% off if you "like" them on Facebook. That site above looks even cheaper though.
