Oh I commend you for your brave Vita behaviour!

And I offer my sympathies for your tragic experience following it...

Time to get those online trophies!!

    Which is, of course, MonMon!!

It's super cool to be able to get them this way, but it does make me feel a little lonely xD

Summon Night 6 is not a bad SRPG but it's not great either. The battle system feels simple compared to other SRPGs on the Vita such as God Wars and Disgaea 3/4. The graphics are really nice though and the performance is great. I did not encounter any framerate issues. The story gets interesting in the second half of the game. The voice acting in this game is so bad. It's the worst voice acting I have encountered in a Vita game.

A Boy and His Blob is a pretty fun side scrolling platformer with puzzles. You have a blob that morphs into different forms that you have to utilize to get through a stage. I would definitely consider this as a hidden gem for the Vita because I have never heard of anyone talk about this game. If you liked Limbo or Dokuro then you'll surely like this one. The last 2 stages are awesome!

Axeru777 regarding Summon Night 6, is there Japanese voice acting available and is that also bad? Or is it horrible English voice acting with no JPN options?

I've been playing MeiQ mostly, and it's really fun! I've been switching back and forth between normal and hard, ideally playing on hard for the extra XP, but putting it on normal if there's no good grinding spot nearby. The free DLC equipment certainly helps easen up the start!

Ow... yeah... It doesn't look like the game to be played in Gameboy (voiceless) mode either... Thanks! I'll be taking it off my list! :D

If you're looking for a turn based strategy game try Disgaea 3 and 4, God Wars, or Steamworld Heist

Oh smokes! God Wars really is good? It's in my local store actually... Thanks! Disgaea's been on my to-get list for a while as well. Is it better to have played earlier ones? I heard they can get really tough to get into starting from 3 or 4...

From what I read they didn't get the permission to use japanese voice acting in the western version.

I would start with 1 (on PSP) or 4.

1 because it's the less complex one and 4 because if you don't mind complex gameplay then 4 feels more like 5, it's more polished.

Also Disgaea games are for the most part as complex you want to have them, you can always ignore the complex stuff like item world if you want to.

Oh thanks! I'll assume 1 is available for download on the Vita then, right? I'll give it a look and see if it's a decent price (cause digital PSP games are often not a reasonable price...).

And as for Summon Night... yeah, it makes sense. Shit sucks though.

Yes all PSP Disgaea games are available on the Vita via PSN store (at least in EU)

So we pretty much finished Freedom Wars and are now trying to do some of the post-game content. Fuuuuuuck this shit is tough! I feel like these missions are designed for 4-player coop teams. We just barely managed one of them, and another we just had to give up on... I was looking forward to maybe even continuing to do missions, get better loadouts etc. until the platinum, but pffft... Perhaps not!
