It's always interesting to think of the ontologies behind the forms we fill out. When you have to check your religion for example, a Dutch form may give you a few Christian options, it will certainly mention Jewish or Muslim but without further divisions, and if you're Hindu or Buddhist, decent chance you're 'miscellaneous'. And recently with non-binary gender discussions etcetera you see a similar thing.

Here I just find it interesting that instead of mentioning continents, or rough regions (to divide all the incredibly different parts of Asia for example into Middle East, Southeast Asia etc.), instead OP chose to mention, I'm guessing, the countries OP thought to be most likely to appear, perhaps most important to the OP? It says something about the worldview the OP has, and where the OP's focus lies.

    Ontopic though: The Netherlands :p

On topic of locality. Another forum Im on has annual meet ups in a rented room for a weekend of gaming (Sega, Nintendo, PS, Commodore etc) here in the UK. Would anyone on here be up for a such an event? We could hire a function room, each bring some machines, TVs and games?

Can imagine that, most people I know myself that are gamers are also guys except my partner then.

Not that I care, most guys are okay when a girl want to join a game with them, the guys that do complain are mostly "kids" between 14 and 20 years playing CS:GO lol.

Yup when we meet each other years ago I was amazed that she had a gaming room and liked gaming too, offcourse we don't always like the same games but there are enough games like Monster Hunter or Toukiden for example that we do like both.

Being both gamers makes the life easier that's for sure :p

    Another one here!
I tried Atelier but my wife ended up taking over... I tried Yomawari as well but... Well... Yeah... It's rough.

Now playing Etrian Odyssey on my 3DS and got Moe Chronicle on hold (aaalmost a platinum... The last grind is a bitch though), so that feels samey qua taste I guess.

I don't play much co-op or multiplayer in general but if you're looking for Dutch gaming people, I fit the bill.

    Admittedly, I'm not a female. :)

To be fair, the DuckTales platformer was pretty rough for me as well at times... Too used of the relaxed calm of turn-based I guess.

But sure! The PSN is Jofqry in case I don't have that somewhere visible already. :D
