Released in September of 2012, Sound Shapes was a critical darling for the PlayStation Vita. Collaborative developers Queasy Games and SCE Santa Monica Studio received a monumental amount of praise and reward for their experimental efforts. However a year is a relatively long time in regards to video games as a medium. Both fans and games themselves have ever wandering eyes, shifting, looking, and always awaiting the next thing. So while Sound Shapes may have been awarded on its ability to be experimental upon its release, I am here to study whether the chemistry is still just as explosive today.
Sound Shapes is a side-scrolling platformer with a musical twist. Celebrating our recent return and their fairly recent one year anniversary, we’ve acquired a North American voucher code to spread the word.
All you have to do to enter is comment below with your North American PSN ID before 7:59pm Eastern on Friday (Sept 13th).
At 8pm Eastern on the 13th I will be doing the draw via random number generator (random.org) and will contact the winner via PSN shortly after. The winner will also be posted here – but only after I’ve contacted them via PSN to confirm their region and that they can accept the code.
We’d like to thank Queasy Games for the voucher code.
Good luck, PSVita fans!
